The Mermaid Kat Shop was created to make all your mermaid wishes come true. To turn as many mermaid dreams into reality we ship worldwide. Please see below our international shipping rates and the Mermaid Kat Shop return policy.
The shipping is with DHL or Australian Post. The shipping costs are calculated by the total weight and the destination. For multiple items with the same delivery address, the shipping costs will only be provided once the amount of the total weight and destination is added in the shopping cart. If the total weight exceeds 20 kg please ask for the price of shipping before your order – thank you –
Important note: Depending on our stock levels your purchase will be send out from our German or Australian warehouse. International shipments may take 15 business days (Monday-Friday, public holidays not included) or longer, plus eventual delays for customs clearance. We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the shipping company or customs. Therefore we don’t offer any refunds or discount for shipping delays.
Our Return Policy
The Mermaid Kat Shop was created to make your dreams of turning into a real life mermaid or merman come true. Turning your wishes and dreams into reality is our main priority and we want you to be completely satisfied with our products and service. If you are not 100% happy with our mermaid products please read our return policy below.
Return Policy for "Non-Customized" orders
- As “non-customized” orders we understand all orders that are not specifically made to your special designs or sizes. “Non-customized” products in our mermaid shop include our mono fins, fabric mermaid tails, fabric bikini tops and buttons, costumes and other products that you buy by our standard sizes and not by your own measurements. We also count products such as bags, posters, and other accessories to “non-customized” products.
- All our “non’customized” products can be returned within 30 days of the day of purchase.
- All returned products must be proven to be in new and unused condition. Any product that has been damaged or worn in water cannot be returned and if we receive a product in worn or used condition, it will be sent back to the customer.
- When you receive your product, you must immediately and carefully inspect the shipment for correctness, completeness and for any possible shipping damage. Any concerns or issues must be expressed to us within three (3) days after receipt of your shipment. If problems are not reported to us within three (3) days after receipt of your shipment, we will not be responsible for correcting any problems. - After we receive your returned product we will refund of price of merchandise, minus shipping.
- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to return product to us.
- All clearance and discontinued items are excluded from the warranty and are non-returnable, non-refundable or non-replaceable.
- Usually we send out “non-customized” orders out within the next business day after we received your payment. Depending on our stock your order might be send from Germany or Australia. For international shipments, estimated times of arrivals are not guaranteed.
Return Policy for "Customized" orders
- As “customized” products we understand all products made to your own measurements or designs. This includes our silicone mermaid tails, silicone mermaid tops, special order fabric mermaid tails (with a special design or size) and any other “special” orders.
- Our “customized” products are NON-RETURNABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. There are absolutely no exchanges or returns on “customized” products purchased. All sales are final.
- Our “customized” products are non-refundable and are made to measurements, not size. It is your responsibility to submit accurate measurements for the product that you are purchasing on the Website. A detailed list of measurements and measuring charts are on each product page for you to follow. Follow the given information to your best ability. All measurements must be given and confirmed in cm. Do not add or subtract any to your final measurement. Review your measurements when confirming your purchase on the website. The Mermaid Kat Shop is not responsible for incorrect or improper measurements confirmed by you. You as a customer take the final responsibility for ordering the correct size. Necessary alterations will be made to confirmed measurements. The final product’s measurements may vary slightly from what you originally submitted. We highly recommend having a professional seamstress take your measurements.
- The Mermaid Kat Shop is extremely cautious in ensuring that each of our “customized” products strictly complies with our quality criteria and that it has passed all our controls, both technical and aesthetic. If nevertheless you receive a product that seems to be damaged, you may contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org with a detailed email of the damages within three (3) days upon receipt of the product. The Mermaid Kat Shop may classify the product as a defective product. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be defective. If the Mermaid Kat Shop declares your product as defective we may send you the same product in the exact same size or return your payment (minus shipping) after we received the product back.
- When you receive your product, you must immediately and carefully inspect the shipment for correctness, completeness and for any possible shipping damage. - If you, as a customer, decide you do not want the “customized” product ordered through the website, you may cancel the sale contract by sending an email to Mermaid Kat Shop at firstname.lastname@example.org, within three (3) days following the transaction to receive a refund. The notice must state that you do not want the goods or services. The Mermaid Kat Shop will use reasonable efforts to refund the full price you paid, no later than fourteen (14) days after receipt of your request to cancel the order.
- Your order might be produced and shipped from Germany or Australia.
